Vou terminar o blog por onde começei : Westmount Florist . Foi trabalhando lá que a paixão pelas flores vieram à tona, assim como a vontade de fotografá-las . Aprendi os nomes, as cores, as texturas, os cheiros. Aprendi o inglês…! Durante 8 anos fui  trabalhar sorrindo, mesmo quando o inverno anunciava -20 de manhã( pois Westmount Florist fica em Montréal, Quebec, Canadá.) Foi um prazer descobrir pelo Face book que a família Pickrell continua firme e forte e que os pequenos de ontem, já  grandes hoje, estão entrando no trabalho que o avô começou. Que dure ainda muito anos !

Eu não sei se voltarei a fazer os post sobre  outros artistas. Fica o blog on line pelo conteúdo que já existe e que eu adoro. Colocarei novidades sobre o meu trabalho, que se encontrará também no Face book . Espero que vocês tenham gostado do recreio…

I am going to end where it all started : Westmount Florist . As I was working there, my passion for flowers bloomed as well as my pleasure to photograph them. I learned the names, the colors, the textures, the smells. I learned how to speak English…! For 8 years I went to work with a smile on my face, even when the thermometer announce -20 in the morning ! ( because Westmount Florist is in Montreal, Quebec, Canada ) It was a pleasure to discover through Face book that the Pickrell Family is still going strong and that those who were kids  a long time ago, are now grown up, joining the business that their grandfather started. I wish them a long life of success !

For now, I will not post works from other artists.The blog will stay on line for what I have done…I love it. I will post news about my work here as well as in Face book.  I hope you  enjoyed the recreation…
